Im Buch „Torschuss-Training in Spielformen“ von Peter Schreiner steht die Ausbildung von Torjägern im Mittelpunkt. Auf 74 Seiten mit 62 Grafiken, 23 Fotos und 37 Spielformen zeigt Schreiner, wie man den Torschuss gezielt in realitätsnahen Spielsituationen trainiert.
Der Titel ist der 3. Teil der Reihe „Die Torschuss-Matrix“ und knüpft an die ersten beiden Ausgaben zur Torschussausbildung in 8 Stufen an. Im Fokus steht das Individualtraining unter Zeit- und Gegnerdruck, das den Unterschied zwischen einem einfachen Schuss und einem echten Torschuss verdeutlicht.
Schreiner erklärt, welche Eigenschaften einen Torjäger auszeichnen, wie man Spielformen variiert, den Schwierigkeitsgrad erhöht und welche häufigen Fehler Spieler beim Abschluss machen.

Praxisnahe Spielformen und variable Abschlussmomente

Der Praxisteil des Buchs zeigt bewährte Spielformen aus dem Training von der U13 bis zum oberen Amateurbereich. Dabei legt Schreiner Wert auf Spielnähe und Entscheidungsverhalten, um Torjäger auf realistische Spielsituationen vorzubereiten.

Der Abschnitt über Spielformen auf ein Großtor behandelt Aktionen im Strafraum, Überzahlspiele mit Umschalten, variable Aktionsfelder und spezifische Aufgaben für Stürmer.

Das Kapitel über Spielformen auf zwei Tore erweitert diese Ansätze mit Rondos mit Torschuss, Überzahlspielen mit neutralen Spielern, Mittelzonen und Gleichzahlsituationen.

Ziel ist es, Spieler schrittweise zu schulen, um ihre Effizienz vor dem Tor zu steigern und die Wahrscheinlichkeit erfolgreicher Abschlüsse zu erhöhen – ganz im Sinne von Schreiners Kerngedanke:

Peter Schreiner is considered one of the world's leading Experts for children's and youth football. The UEFA A-license coach was among others at the Sportfreunden Katernberg (Oberliga) and in the U19 of FC Schalke 04 active. Building on his experience as Coordinator of the Schalke youth department and organizer of numerous soccer schools - a concept he brought to Germany from the USA in the early 1990s - he founded the Institute for Youth Football (IFJ96).
