Hans-Dieter te Poel

DFB soccer instructor & sports science graduate

Hans-Dieter te Poel is a DFB soccer instructor (UEFA Pro-Licence), sports science graduate with a focus on training and movement science, sports games and cognition, holder of the Coerver Coaching Certificate (technical soccer training) and a teacher and student council member. He has many years of experience as a coach in competitive and high-performance sport and is a member of the professional coaching association BDFL and the DVS, ASP and DSLV.

He is a lecturer in soccer at the German Sport University Cologne and has worked at the state performance centers in Essen and Straelen and at the national performance base in Dortmund/Munich. As a DFB base coach, he is also active in coach training, the promotion of gifted and elite players, conflict counseling and in the field of software/multimedia in sport.

He is an author for the specialist journals fußballtraining, leistungssport, Spektrum der Sportwissenschaften and sportunterricht and worked for six years on all new curricula for the subject of sport at the Hessian Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs. At the German Football Association, he was able to pass on his extensive experience in the Football Commission.
