Athanasios Terzis

Athanasios Terzis is the author of the bestseller “FC Barcelona – Training Sessions” and several books focusing on tactical analysis and training methods used by Europe’s top clubs.

At the age of 29, he ended his playing career in Greece, where he played for multiple professional teams. He went on to coach various semi-professional teams before fully dedicating himself to football training and player development.

As a technical director, Terzis worked in the academies of DOXA Dramas (Greek football league, 2nd division). His books cover tactical systems like the 4-3-3 and the 4-4-2 diamond, analyzing how elite teams implement them in modern football.

He was awarded the “Antonio Ghirelli” prize for best football book in Italy, further cementing his reputation as a leading voice in tactical football education.
