McGreskin ist ein schottischer Profitrainer. Er hat sich einen Namen als Spezialist für modernes, dynamisches Offensivspiel und internationale Trainerbildung gemacht.

Seine Trainerlaufbahn führte McGreskin zunächst als Assistenztrainer zu Partick Thistle, wo er gemeinsam mit Jackie McNamara und Simon Donnelly ein attraktives Angriffsspiel etablierte und 2013 den Gewinn der Scottish Championship miterlebte.
