ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Markus Pflanz

Markus Pflanz is a passionate football coach with over a decade of experience in talent development and professional soccer. For eleven years, he shaped young players as a DFB base coach and passed on his knowledge as a speaker and examiner at the Hessian Football Association.

His career has taken him from Germany via Belgium to Luxembourg, where he supported the U19 national team in the European Championship qualifiers in 2024. With a UEFA Pro License and spells at clubs such as KV Oostende, Sint Truiden VV and VfR Aalen, Pflanz combines theory and practice at the highest level.

Known for his analytical approach and passion for game intelligence and development, he has guided numerous players on their path to professionalism - including several current internationals.
