Carsten is the founder and managing director of the Tanner Speed Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden. He specializes in speed coaching - both in the area of running and cognitive speed.
As one of the most renowned speed coaches in team sports in Europe, Carsten has a degree in training science and has completed numerous advanced training courses in the field of strength and athletic training in order to keep up with the latest scientific developments.
He has worked as a coach in both professional and youth soccer, including in Sweden and Germany. His clients include athletes and teams from IFK Göteborg, TSG Hoffenheim, Hannover 96, SpVgg Greuther Fürth, BK Häcken, Östersund FK, Fortuna Sittard, Juventus Turin, Hellas Verona, FC Copenhagen, the Swedish national futsal team and the FIFA Referees' Association.
Carsten currently works as a speed and athletics coaching consultant for the IFK Göteborg academy.
In addition, he conducts further education courses and workshops for coaches and players and regularly gives lectures at international coaching congresses and coaching license courses - including for associations such as the BDFL (Germany), ÖFB, NÖFV, SFV, KFV (Austria), NZS (Slovenia), FLF (Luxembourg), AFC (Asian Football Confederation), GFF and VFF (Sweden).
